Who services my life insurance policy?

Direct Life Advisors is an independent life insurance agency, not an insurance company. We are not affiliated with any insurer listed here.

Find the company named on your policy below. Each page says what we can establish about who holds that block of policies today, what changed, and the five questions worth asking before you hang up.

1140 company names in all: 685 that no longer write under their original name, 458 writing or servicing policies today, and 3 names that both an older and a current company have used.

Can't find the name? We'll trace it.

Five minutes, no charge — we'll tell you who to ask for, what to ask, and what the answers mean.

(888) 753-8706

No cost to you. We're paid a commission by the insurance company only if you later buy through us — never by you.

Before you call, have these ready

  1. The policy, or any document with a policy number on it.
  2. The full name and date of birth of the insured person.
  3. If the insured person has died, a certified copy of the death certificate.

Some of these companies were renamed, some were bought, and a few failed and were taken over by a state guaranty association. The page for each one says which, and what it means for the contract. Five questions are worth asking on every one of these calls: whether the policy is in force and what the death benefit is today, who the named beneficiary is, whether there is cash value and a loan against it, what the current premium is, and what riders are attached.
